What are the symptoms/signs of coccidiosis in rabbits?
- lethargy (lack of energy)
- weakness
- not eating / lack of appetite
- weight loss
- dehydration / not drinking
How do you treat coccidiosis in rabbits?
- Treatment is difficult and control rather than cure is expected. Sulfaquinoxaline administered continuously in the drinking water for (0.40% for 30 days) prevents clinical signs of hepatic coccidiosis in rabbits heavily exposed to E stiedae.
